Amy is a highly experienced, ARB-registered and RIBA-chartered architect with over 21 years in professional practice. She studied both her undergraduate degree and postgraduate diploma at the Manchester School of Architecture, laying the foundation for a career built on strong design principles and technical excellence.

Her early career was shaped at the award-winning AEDAS Architects in Manchester, where she spent eight years focusing on the design and delivery of large-scale educational buildings. She later joined Taylor Design Architects in Wilmslow, working for six years on high-end commercial projects, including premium-brand automotive showrooms.

In 2020, Amy completed her first solo new-build project 'The Orchard' - a beautifully crafted stone and oak-frame home. The experience of taking a bespoke residential design from concept to completion, combined with the close client collaboration and the satisfaction of creating something truly personal, inspired Amy to launch her own architectural practice.

Since then, she has focused primarily on private residential commissions, working closely with clients to design homes that are thoughtful, contextual, and beautifully detailed. Her portfolio spans a wide range of project types and scales - from one-off new builds and barn conversions to extensions and full home renovations.

Amy brings over two decades of experience across the residential, educational, and commercial sectors, with a deep understanding of all RIBA stages of work. Clients value her personal, hands-on approach, her technical knowledge, and her commitment to delivering homes that are not only functional and elegant, but also rooted in their setting and tailored to each client’s way of life.
